Biography

Winning isn't everything  as they say! As we grow older priorities change and after traveling the world for more than 20 years I recognize this and have transitioned into other things that keep inspiring me.

Being a professional windsurfer was always my dream! Winning world titles was the goal and having those accomplishments in the past allow me to rest easy. I still love the sport of windsurfing more than anything and the blessings that have been given to me in friends and opportunities continue to blow my mind! Teaching others to find that magical missing link to improve their sailing is my new passion in windsurfing. I still love chasing waves and ripping them to shreds, but seeing others succeed is a big motivation in my life now.

Having a family certainly changes things. Our 2 boys are full of life and energy that could fuel an entire village for years. Watching them grow up and learn things in their own ways is very entertaining. They keep us on our toes and complete life here on Maui!!

Biography

I won my first PWA World Title in 2000- that was a mighty big task taking down 11 Time World Champion Bjorn Dunkerbeck and it was an incredible feeling.

I continue to push myself year after year and strive for perfection. I love windsurfing, it will always be a part of me and it makes me who I am!

I have been living in Hawaii and on the road traveling around the world seeing all the sights for over 25 years.

It has been the journey of a lifetime for me and continues to be.

Fame is fleeting.
